I’m Karen Mercanti, the founder of Mercanti Virtual Assistant Services. Born in Italy to British / Italian parents, I’ve lived, worked, and traveled extensively across Italy, the UK, and internationally.
This unique blend of cultural experiences allows me to offer a deep understanding of both Italian and international customs, along with the ability to navigate cross-cultural environments with ease.
With over 20 years of experience across industries ranging from maritime personnel management to running my own business, I understand the intricacies of managing operations, personnel, and customer service on an international scale.
After returning to Italy with my family to embrace a more balanced lifestyle, I encountered the notorious challenges of Italian bureaucracy.
Inspired by these experiences, I created Mercanti V.A. to help businesses and expats thrive without the stress of navigating complex systems and processes alone.
